Who can participate in T.R.I.D.O.M?

Any new or existing patient who will be having a scheduled blood draw as part of their clinical care at the University of Chicago Department of Medicine clinics. The blood sample used for research will not require you to undergo any additional procedures, and will not affect the accuracy of any routine tests that are to be conducted for your medical care.

Prospective Participants

What will I be asked to do if I participate?
  1. Give your permission by signing informed consent form
  2. Provide extra blood samples during an already scheduled blood draw.
  3. Answer questions about you and your health, such as:
    • - Your date of birth, sex and race
    • - What medications do you take?
    • - Do you have any health problems?
